The AriZona x adidas Yung-1 “Iced Tea” is one of the four collaborative sneakers by the beverage company and adidas that released during the summer of 2019. The pack included the Yung-1 and Continental 80, each in two colorways inspired by the cans of the Iced Tea and Green Tea flavors from AriZona. This Yung-1 represents the Iced Tea, featuring a teal, pink, black, light tan, and yellow color combination to mirror the look of the can. The 99 cent price tag logo from the can is stitched on the tongue, while the Southwestern design from the can design is found on the toe. The AriZona x adidas collection was released on July 19, 2019 at a pop-up shop in New York City. Due to each shoe being sold for only 99 cents as a reference to the price of an actual can of the tea, large crowds created chaos and the event was promptly shut down by the NYPD before all pairs were sold.
