The Jordan Why Not Zer0.1 “Michigan PE” is the player exclusive colorway for the University of Michigan on Russell Westbrook’s signature basketball shoe. Air Jordan is the official sponsor for Michigan’s athletics uniforms, thus forming the connection to the university. The player exclusive colorway honors the magical run of the University’s men’s basketball team during the NCAA Tournament in 2018. As for the sneaker, the upper is composed of a contrasting white mesh bootie covering the laces with a blue Jumpman logo on top. A blue rubber heel design with slanting details extends from the collar to the midsole. A maize strip on the heel reads “Engineered for Flight” in blue lettering. The tongue features a blue strap with a proud maize-colored “M” for the University of Michigan. Completing the look of this exclusive design is a dual-colored white and blue sole with a maize Jumpman logo on the outsole.
