The Extra Butter x Happy Gilmore x adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 “Gold Jacket” is a collaboration that celebrates the 25-year anniversary of Adam Sandler’s hit comedy film of the same name. Co-designed by the New York City sneaker boutique, the “Gold Jacket” colorway of the adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 features several overtures to Happy Gilmore, including the shoe’s yellow Primeknit upper, a nod to the jacket awarded to Happy following his victory over Shooter McGavin at the Tour Championship. A finger-gun graphic on the forefoot honors Shooter’s signature gesture. Other details include a white midfoot “cage” that doubles as adidas’s Three Stripes logo, tonal suede overlays on the heel and forefoot, and dual Extra Butter and adidas branding on the inner lining. The white Boost foam midsole provides all-day comfort and a responsive ride. A gum-colored Continental Rubber outsole completes the look. Release date: June 25, 2021
