The Vans Slip-On CAP “True White” is a clean look for the reinterpreted version of the beloved Vans Slip-On. The Slip-On CAP incorporates elements of another prominent Vans model, the Old Skool. Despite featuring an elasticized canvas upper, an unexpected set of laces conjure a DIY aesthetic. Further features lifted from the Old Skool include white suede around the toe, eyelets, ankle collar, and heel. Vans’ iconic checkerboard is added around the heel of the otherwise white suede and canvas upper. The traditional Vans “Off the Wall” branding tab, which typically can be found on the back of the heel across all Vans models, is rearranged toward the lateral side of the heel.
