The Supreme x Vans Skate Grosso Mid “Red” is the red-based colorway of the mid-top skate shoe designed in collaboration between Supreme and Vans for the former’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection. Three colorways (black, red, and blue) of the Supreme-designed Skate Grosso Mid were released alongside three matching looks on the Vans Skate Era in June 2021. All colorways of both models feature Supreme’s popular “S Logo” in an all-over print design. Here, on the “Red” edition of the Skate Grosso Mid, red suede overlays appear on the forefoot, eyelets, and heel. Supreme’s “S Logo” is printed on the red canvas base. A jazzy white leather stripes contrasts the design on both sides. A Skate Grosso logo appears on the black tongue tag on the red suede tongue. The phrase “Grosso Forever” is printed below the design and salutes former Vans pro skater Jeff Grosso, a skate documentarian who passed away in March 2020. Dual “Supreme” and “Vans” branding appears on the red license plate on the heel of the white vulcanized rubber midsole. Release date: June 16, 2021
