The Skateistan x Vans Sk8-Hi is an uplifting collaboration between the organization that empowers children through skateboarding and education and Vans on the high-top skate shoe. Designed in Vans’s signature black-and-white canvas checkerboard style, the Stakeistan Sk8-Hi features various fun-loving embroidered patches on its design, including a smiling sun patch on the collar, a bird in the middle of the shoe, and a skateboard near the lower body. Contrasting black suede overlays on the forefoot and eyelets allow for the checkerboard pattern and patches to attract attention. White laces appear over the black suede tongue. Classic “Vans Off the Wall” branding is printed on the white nylon tongue tag. Underfoot, “Skateistan” insignia is printed in teal on the lateral side of the white vulcanized rubber midsole. A gum-colored waffle patterned outsole completes the look.
