The Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Draft Day - Hornets” is a remastered edition of Kobe Bryant’s fourth signature shoe in a original colorway inspired by the Charlotte Hornets. The Kobe 4 Protro is rendered in the white, teal, and purple colors of the Hornets, the team that originally drafted Bryant before trading him to the Los Angeles Lakers in 1996 returned. The basketball shoe was released in 2019 to coincide with NBA All-Star Weekend taking place in Charlotte. The Kobe 4 Protro features slight modifications that make the basketball shoe perform on the court, including an updated vamp shape, a sleeker heel, and wider outsole traction. The Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Draft Day - Hornets” released on February 15, 2019.
