The Nike KD 14 “Aunt Pearl” is Kevin Durant’s way of paying homage to his late aunt Pearl. This pink colorway serves as a reminder of the fight against cancer. Similar to past “Aunt Pearl” KD models, this pair takes inspiration from the pink ribbon symbol associated with breast cancer. Light shades of pink are found throughout, dynamically “warping” across the textile upper with a darker pink base. The heel features a feather/wing motif, while a speckled midsole also highlights the design. Golden Aunt Pearl and KD markings are found on the tongues, and the rubber outsole also features a matte gold color treatment to complete the impressive KD 14 “Aunt Pearl.”
