The Nike Dunk High “San Francisco Chinatown” is a colorway of the popular sneaker with a design inspired by San Francisco’s Chinatown neighborhood. Part of a collection of colorways that honor the oldest Chinatown neighborhood in the US, the “Gold Mountain” or “San Francisco Chinatown,” the shoe’s other nickname, features a white leather base with Desert Ore leather overlays and a tan suede Swoosh. A golden mountain graphic is printed on the lateral side of the heel as a reference to the “Old Golden Mountain” nickname given to San Francisco by Chinese immigrants when they arrived in the city in the 1800s. Gold foil Chinese characters appear on the tongue tag. The shoe rides on a white rubber midsole and icy blue translucent rubber outsole. Release date: May 9, 2023
