The Sole Classics x Vans Chukka LX “Funk” is a special edition of the classic skate shoe by the Ohio-based sneaker boutique. Part of their “Funk” collection inspired by the aesthetic of 1970s funk music, this Chukka features a purple canvas and suede upper with a corduroy interior. Vans’ classic side stripe, which appears on the Chukka for the first time ever, is reinterpreted into multicolor wavy shapes for a funky effect. The purple hues continue on the vulcanized midsole and signature waffle outsole. The Sole Classics x Vans Chukka LX “Funk” released during the summer of 2019 in limited quantities.
