The Kith x Coca-Cola x Converse Chuck 70 “Washed Denim 2019” is a collaboration between two iconic all-American companies and Kith. This denim construction was initially released as a friends & family exclusive in 2018, but it then returned in this edition available to the public in 2019. Fans of Ronnie Fieg’s timeless collaborations can rejoice, as this particular design features the same details as the first iteration. The upper is complete with a light wash denim base that evokes warm summer days on the beach. Large white embroidered Coca-Cola branding wraps around both sides of the upper with a bold red embroidered patch on the medial side with “It’s the Real Thing, Coca-Cola” embroidered in white inside of the patch. Other detailing includes frayed edges along the collar that are meant to mirror the fraying hems of a pair of old jeans. A sturdy white rubber midsole with red Kith branding on the forefoot and a Coke-bottle-green outsole put the finishing touches on the limited collaboration.
