The Nipsey Hussle x PUMA California Tech Luxe “The Marathon Continues” is a special collaboration between Nipsey Hussle’s The Marathon clothing brand and PUMA on their classy low-top design. Hussle’s untimely death sent shockwaves throughout pop culture as the California rapper was not only a chart-topping musician, but a beloved figure in his Crenshaw community for his uplifting charity work. PUMA signed Nipsey to a shoe deal roughly a year before his death and the artist and sneaker brand were able to work on this crisp design together. The upper features a hybrid white suede and leather combination with the former covering the mid-panel and lateral panel. White leather appears on the perforated toe and heel cap. Contrasting the look are bright red accents along the upper including the PUMA California branding on the mid-panel, tongue, and heel. Completing the look is a chunky white rubber sole that provides all-day comfort and stability.
