The Nike Air Max 1 Slide “Sport Red” is a slip-on sandal that is inspired by the classic running shoe. Debuted in 2023 as part of Nike’s Air Max Day celebration, the Air Max 1 Slide looks to the Air Max 1 for design inspiration and, on the “Sport Red” colorway, the legendary sneaker’s original red-based style. The design features a white mesh strap with light grey suede overlays. A Sport Red mudguard offers a burst of color while nodding to the design of the Air Max 1. An “Air Max 1” branding patch is found on the top of the strap and a half-embroidered red Swoosh appears on the sides. Underfoot, an Air bubble appears in the midsole as a salute to the look of the original Air Max sneaker. Release date: April 1, 2023
