The Air Jordan 34 Jason Tatum PE “Welcome to the Zoo” is the NBA superstar’s Player Exclusive colorway of the performance basketball shoe that was released in July 2020. The “Welcome to the Zoo” colorway was created by Jordan Brand footwear color designer Kelsey Ann and is dedicated to Tatum’s visits to the zoo with his son, Deuce. The shoe features an array of animal patterns that calls to mind the adventurous animal-inspired colorways created by atmos and Nike. Deuce’s nickname appears on the inside of the tongue while Tatum’s “JT” logo is found on the left shoe. The red “Welcome to the Zoo” branding embroidered on the heel is a nod to Tatum’s home city, St. Louis. Release date: July 31, 2020
