The Nike Air Force 1 Mid Jewel “NYC - Cool Grey” is a Fall 2021 release by Nike that honors New York City’s fondness for the retro basketball shoe with unique branding. The ever-popular “Cool Grey” theme that notably appeared on the Air Jordan 11 back in 2001 is the color of choice for the leather used on the shoe’s upper. The design’s lifestyle aesthetic is enhanced with a milky, jeweled Swoosh on the sides and graffiti-inspired “NYC” embroidery on the adjustable ankle strap. Additional “NYC” branding is printed on the nylon tongue tag alongside old school “Air Force 1” detailing. A small white Swoosh is stitched onto the toe.
