The Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 550 “White Leather” is a collaboration by Teddy Santis’s New York City based clothing brand on a versatile colorway of the classic basketball shoe. Aimé Leon Dore helped relaunch the New Balance 550 in 2020, and on the “White Leather” colorway, the brand continues to update the model, this time with a monochromatic white appearance. The design features a creamy white leather construction with smooth and dotted leather on its design. A tan suede “N” logo is found on both sides of the shoe and tan suede detailing appears on the heel. Classic “New Balance 550” detailing is printed on the tongue. A “550” logo is embroidered on the lateral side of the forefoot. Underfoot, Aimé Leon Dore gives the shoe’s chunky rubber sole unit a decidedly vintage look. Release date: October 31, 2022
