The New Balance 1906D "Protection Pack - Eclipse" is a mostly two-tone, navy-and-black colorway of the casual shoe. Debuted in 2010, the 1906 design is inspired by retro running shoes from the early 2000s. On the “Eclipse” colorway from the “Protection Pack,” the model undergoes a shadowy redesign. The shoe features a black mesh base with “ripped” Eclipse (dark navy) leather overlays throughout. The “N” branding on the sides has been colored in black to give the shoe a shadowy look, as has the black plastic heel counter that helps stabilize the wearer’s foot.
